On a Hot Streak: Audi Reports 61st Consecutive Month of Sales Records

2015 was a great year for Audi, as the automaker surpassed the 200,000 mark for you vehicles sold. That momentum carried over into the new year, with Audi delivering 11,850. This was a 2.7 percent increase over January 2015, and the company's best January on record. Furthermore, it was Audi's 61st month in a row of record sales, which, according to MotorIntelligence.com is currently the longest running monthly sales streak in the premium car market.

Sales were boosted by the all-new Q7, which had its best month ever, selling 2,336 units. A7 and A8 models also saw impressive YOY increases.

“The new dynamic Audi Q7 produced an unprecedented level of demand right at launch,” said Mark Del Rosso, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Audi of America. “With benchmark models such as the Q7 and the all-new A4 coming this spring, we believe that our sales momentum will continue unabated this year.”
